Krillion Unlimited — Play the Free Endless Edition
Self-hosted dive quiz · 7 questions a round · answers people actually search for dive shallow — rarer answers dive deeper · no download, no account
Krillion Unlimited is HookedOn's own endless take on the dive-quiz format — and unlike a landing page that only describes the game, the full game plays right here on this page. The premise: the answers people actually search for take you down just a little, while the rarer answers almost nobody finds take you much deeper. Every round deals seven questions; your correct answers sink you by their obscurity, your mistakes surface you, and your whole run is measured in meters. When the seventh answer lands, your final depth is your score — then Unlimited mode shuffles a brand-new seven from the bank and you dive again, as many times as you like. Prefer company? The Daily Dive gives every player on Earth the same seven questions on the same calendar day, computed from the date right in your browser — no account, no server, just a shared daily ritual.
How the Unlimited Edition Works
- A round is seven questions. Every run has the same length, so every meter count means the same thing — that is what makes scores comparable across replays and between friends playing the same Daily Dive.
- Each question shows four options. Read the prompt, weigh the four candidates, and commit to exactly one. All four look plausible; only one fits the clues.
- Your correct answer's rarity sets your dive. A household answer — the name everyone says first — moves you about 10 meters. A well-known answer takes ~18, a niche answer ~26, and a true deep-cut answer ~35. The tiers stay hidden until you commit, so depth reads your knowledge honestly.
- Wrong answers surface you. A miss does not just score zero — it pulls you back up 12 meters, spending depth your earlier answers earned. Carelessness is expensive because depth is cumulative.
- Seven answers, one meter count. When the round ends, everything earned and lost nets out to your final depth — the number you carry off the dive.
- Unlimited means unlimited. One tap deals a fresh seven-question set from the bank — questions reshuffled, options reshuffled. There is no run cap, no energy meter and no wait.
Scoring in Meters
Every option in the bank carries a popularity tier — a measure of how many people actually search for that answer. The tier decides the dive:
| What you committed | How it reads | Depth change |
|---|---|---|
| Correct household answer | the name everyone says first | +10 m |
| Correct well-known answer | famous in its field | +18 m |
| Correct niche answer | true, but little-searched | +26 m |
| Correct deep-cut answer | almost nobody finds it | +35 m |
| Wrong answer | does not fit the clues | −12 m |
A perfect run tops out at 245 meters, but nobody dives that deep on household names alone — big numbers belong to rounds that weave deep cuts through steady, correct swimming.
The Daily Dive
Each calendar day has its own seven-question set, derived from the date with a deterministic shuffle that runs entirely in your browser. Same day, same questions — for you and for everyone else who opens this page. There is no leaderboard server and nothing leaves your device; the shared set is simply a fair starting line. Finish the Daily Dive and keep going in Unlimited mode, or come back tomorrow for a new seven.
Five Tips for Deeper Rounds
- Read all four options before committing. The first plausible answer is usually the household one — the shallowest dive on the board. The extra three seconds can be worth 25 meters.
- When torn between two, ask which one people search less. If both answers fit but only one is right, popularity is still the tiebreaker worth thinking about — the game hides tiers until after you commit, but your own sense of fame is your best depth instrument.
- Protect the streak. One wrong answer (−12 m) erases a household answer's entire gain and then some. A steady, all-correct round at medium rarity beats a heroic round with two misses.
- Bank the famous ones fast, slow down on the weird ones. When a question obviously points at a household name, commit and move. When the options all look obscure, that question is where the round's real meters live — give it the extra thought.
- Use Unlimited mode to learn the bank's shape. Question sets reshuffle every replay, so pattern recognition compounds: the second pass over a topic is where shallow divers become open-water divers.
FAQ — Krillion Unlimited
- What is Krillion Unlimited?
- Krillion Unlimited is HookedOn's free, self-hosted endless edition of the dive-quiz format. Every round is seven questions with four options each; your correct answers dive by obscurity, wrong answers surface you, and the round's score is your final depth in meters. You can replay unlimited fresh rounds right on this page.
- How does a round work?
- Each round asks seven questions. Every question shows one prompt and four options — pick the one that fits. A correct household answer dives about 10 meters, a well-known one about 18, a niche one about 26, and a deep-cut answer about 35. A wrong answer surfaces you 12 meters. After seven questions, your net depth in meters is your score.
- What does "rarer answers dive deeper" mean?
- Depth rewards obscurity. The answers people actually search for — household names — sink you only a little below the surface, while rare answers few players would find take you much deeper. The game hides every option's popularity tier until you commit, so depth becomes a reading of your knowledge, not a button to hunt.
- What is the difference between Unlimited mode and the Daily Dive?
- The Daily Dive draws the same seven questions for everyone on the same calendar day, seeded by the date in your browser — no account needed. Unlimited mode deals you a fresh random seven-question set every time you dive again, so you can keep playing new rounds indefinitely.
- Is it free, and does it work on mobile?
- Yes — Krillion Unlimited plays free in any browser with no download and no account. The whole game is touch-friendly: tap an option to commit your answer, tap Descend to continue. It works on phones, tablets and desktops.
